This mostly meant going into dirty places (like the furnace room), looking behind things (like dressers) and under things (like beds). I uncovered a lot of miscellaneous items, some not worth counting. Among the better finds were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kenyan print (It&#8217;s going to our son\u2019s African-American school.)<\/li>\n<li>Japanese wall hanging<\/li>\n<li>2 land line phones<\/li>\n<li>3 purses and some jewelry<\/li>\n<li>3 sweaters<\/li>\n<li>man\u2019s shirt<\/li>\n<li>woman\u2019s vest and top<\/li>\n<li>Clamp on light<\/li>\n<li>5 placemats<\/li>\n<li>Kitchen cutting board and drain pad<\/li>\n<li>2 car mats<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Technically, this week completes 365 days of giveaways but I\u2019m going to post this Wednesday since it\u2019s Ash Wednesday and that neatly ties it up from one Lent to the next. I\u2019m also aware that I still have things that warrant giving away \u2013 or to put it more positively, I know there are still many things that others can use <em>now<\/em> that my pack-rat side is hanging on to \u201cjust-in-case.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1538\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.susanvogt.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/Days-358-365-Empty-shelf.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1538\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-1538\" title=\"Days 358-365 - Empty shelf\" src=\"http:\/\/www.susanvogt.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/Days-358-365-Empty-shelf-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1538\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A beautiful site!<\/p><\/div>\n<p>PS: The photo at left may not look that pretty until you realize it&#8217;s a surface in the recesses of our unfinished basement furnace room that was stacked with extra household items.
