Yes, Lent is over but I knew I had a few more drawers in our hallway and living room and one kitchen cabinet that I hadn\u2019t gotten to in the past 40 days. I thought it would bring a little closure to this project to have finished the 1<sup>st<\/sup> and 2<sup>nd<\/sup> floors of our home. (This doesn\u2019t include Jim\u2019s office which is off limits for now and my office which is in the basement. Maybe later.)<\/p>\n<p>WEEK 7 RESULTS:<\/p>\n<p>8 Drawers reviewed. 6 had things to give away.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Give-Aways<\/span>:<br \/>\n13 Coasters (out of 28)<br \/>\n8 Jello molds (We seldom make Jello\u2026 well actually never any more)<br \/>\n1 Pack of cup cake baking cups (ditto for cupcakes)<br \/>\n3 Corning trays (small and an unusual shape)<br \/>\n2 Plastic bowls with lids (out of 6)<br \/>\n1 All purpose grater (already have another)<br \/>\n1 Knit neck warmer<br \/>\n1 Water filter (that must have been hiding when I gave the rest of them away)<br \/>\n1 Neighborhood Directory (duplicate)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Wait<\/span>:<br \/>\n1 biking glove<br \/>\nI was ready to throw this away but hubby said, he\u2019d like to wait awhile to see if the matching glove shows up.<\/p>\n<p>Throw away:<br \/>\n1 container of powdered instant orange drink (now hardened)<br \/>\n5 Clips to keep kid\u2019s mittens on (no kids anymore)<\/p>\n<p>2 LEARNINGS:<br \/>\n<strong>1. Bringing closure<br \/>\n<\/strong>Although I still have drawers in my basement desk and my husband\u2019s office that could qualify for A-Drawer-A Day, it feels good to have finished two floors of our home. There\u2019s something to be said for a natural end point and I think I\u2019ve reached it for now.<br \/>\n<strong>2.
